Yappy Hour @ Electric Moon
Electric Moon at Plant Riverside District to Launch New Dog-Friendly “Yappy Hour” on Thursdays, Starting June 22 from 6pm to 8pm Yappy Hour at Electric Moon Skytop Lounge. Electric Moon hosts a new weekly Yappy Hour, offering guests the opportunity to bring their dogs to the popular rooftop bar for two hours of fun. Sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Yappy Hour at Electric Moon will feature canine-themed Tito’s cocktails, exciting giveaways, sharable menu items and dog-friendly experiences on the Skytop Lounge. Featured Tito’s cocktails, which will be available for $10, include: Big Red Dog – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, blood orange and orange juice Berry Good Boy – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lemon, strawberry and club soda Booze Clues – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lavender, lemon Blue Curacao and Sprite Electric Moon offers a full bar, signature cocktails and a delicious menu featuring sharable favorites prepared by the acclaimed culinary team at Plant Riverside District. This popular rooftop destination also features an outdoor game area on the Moon Deck as well as spectacular views of the Savannah River.
Twins of Evil Tour: Melvins & Boris @ District Live
Melvins are a band that originated from Montesano, Washington in 1983. Usually performing as a trio, they have also in recent years performed with a double-drum lineup. Along with being heralded as one of the progenitors of grunge (Alongside Green River, Soundgarden, Nirvana and Mudhoney to name a few.), The Melvins are heralded as a progenitor to the sludge genre as a whole. Many bands have cited The Melvins as an influence to their own music such as Nirvana, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Cathedral, Earth, Mastodon, Eyehategod, Down, Neurosis, Boris, ISIS and Sunn O))) to name a few. Boris formed in 1992 and eventually arrived at the band’s current lineup of Takeshi, Wata, and Atsuo in 1996. In the years since, Boris has tirelessly explored their own rendition of what is heavy through methods entirely their own. Though the depths of their “heaviness” may intensify, their unique musicianship defies classification in any one genre or style, so let’s just call it real “heavy music” in extreme color. Their music has been called a “game changer” regarding the leading edge of the world’s rock scene, and that influence is limitless. They enter realms that cannot be described simply in terms of the “explosive sound” or “thunderous roars” that have become their trademark. Formed in late 2015, Mr. Phylzzz (pronounced Mr. Flyzzz..get it right!) is an ever changing no rules two piece freakshow from Chicago Il with founder Clinton Jacob on Guitar/Vocals and Danny Sein on Drums. Over time Mr. Phylzzz formed a heavy wall of sound filled with hooky riffs, melodic vocals and explosive drums that created a chaotic genre jumping storm which caught the ear of Thomas Hazelmyer (Amphetamine Reptile Records) who has been releasing Phylzzz records into the world since 2019 (this is an all standing event)

Yoga on the Riverwalk with New Yoga Now
Turn back time with this all-levels Savannah yoga flow with beautiful views of the river. This 60-minute yoga experience is designed to renew your senses, reset your mind, and build a more supple body. During our Savannah yoga classes, you can expect a fluid sequence built around mobility-based movements to cultivate strength and flexibility, and soothe the mind. Yoga equipment is available for use.
