About Caymus Vineyards

Caymus Vineyards was officially founded in Rutherford, California in 1972 by Charlie Wagner, his wife Lorna Belle Glos Wagner, and their 19-year-old son, Chuck Wagner. The estate is world-renowned for its signature, rich Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons. Over five decades later, Caymus remains 100% family-owned and operated, with Chuck managing the business alongside his children, Charlie and Jenny.  Under Chuck’s guidance, the family business scaled significantly. They introduced various highly successful sister labels to explore different varietals and regions, including Conundrum, Mer Soleil, Emmolo, The Walking Fool and Red Schooner.
